Wang Shengjin,Ph.D.,is a tenured professor at Tsinghua University.He received his Ph.D.degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1997 and has been teaching at the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University since 2003.At present,his main research interests include artificial intelligence,machine learning,computer vision,and embodied intelligent collaborative robots,and his main research interests include intelligent video analysis,portrait recognition and pedestrian re-recognition,and multimodal collaborative robots.
As the person in charge and technical backbone,he has undertaken or participated in many national projects,including 973,863,the National Natural Science Foundation of China,the Doctoral Program Fund of the Ministry of Education,the National Science and Technology Support Program,and the 13th and 14th Five-Year National Key R&D Projects,and has achieved outstanding results.The laboratory has published more than 90 papers in important international journals IEEE and academic conferences such as CVPR and ICCV.He has applied for 15 invention patents.
