By integrating with conventional two-photon microscopy, our photoacoustic imaging platform delivers complementary hemodynamic metrics and functional connectivity mapping. We further develop novel photoacoustic molecular probes coupled with this hybrid imaging approach to enable deep-brain neural activity interrogation, thereby advancing fundamental discovery in neuroscience.‌
